Site Navigation
Navigation of the blog is fairly simple…
But I thought it would be a good idea to provide more explicit directions on finding one’s way through all the current posts and the posts to come.
Posts are filtered into one of the four major categories – Administrative (for administrative stuff), Write So Wrong (for creative writing), Wrong So Write (for article and non-fiction writing), and Convolutions (miscellaneous posts) – and then categorized again into subcategories that better describe the nature of the posts.
The current subcategories in existence are:
-
Write So Wrong
- Shorts – short stories
- Series – serial multi-part stories
- Poetic – poetry
-
Wrong So Write
- In My Mind – mental musings
- In the Cyber World – www related
- In the Studio – studio work related
- On the Web Design Front – web design related
- On the Web Development Front – web development related
- On the WordPress Front – WordPress related
Once categorized into the appropriate subcategory (or subcategories), the posts are then tagged with the topics that the posts specifically talk about and the Tag Cloud widget block in the sidebar gives a cloud listing of all the topics that are blogged about.
With this method of categorization and organization, the reader is able to view posts based on either specific subject matters or general genres.
Additionally, an archive of the blog by month and year is made available in the Archive widget block and so posts can be viewed by months and years.
And, if all else fails, the Search form in the header space can be used to search for keywords in posts that are not tagged.
I do not anticipate that the organizational structure will change much, if at all, but if such a change should happen (potentially due to a need to address overlaps in topics and categories), I will update this page to reflect the changes.
