and behind the scenes…

I – EMG – am Emotiomental Graffiti’s website owner, author, artist, and general carpenter, fix-it person, bookkeeper, janitor, and all-around grease monkey.

In other words, I write (all kinds of things), create artwork (both traditional and digital), do front-end web development stuff (XHTML and CSS – aka structure and design), and take care of everything on this site from coding to content development to commentary cleanup.

Toldja I’m an all-around grease monkey and yes, I like alliteration and I also like words that sound nice put together.

Speaking of which…

I also sometimes like to use four letter words (particularly when mad and/or trying to make an emphasis) so be warned! For a post dedicated entirely to the whys and wherefores of my cussing, go to my main website and read up on my Philosophy.

Additionally, I’m a CS junkie (no, not CSS; CSS was already mentioned earlier), so expect some ramblings and ruminations on topics relating to customer support and customer service.

EMG's RMX:

Black and white and grayscale. High contrast with the grayscale symbolizing the height of creativity. Touches of curves amongst all the angles and straight lines. No-nonsense blocks of content that stand out and make themselves known to be what they are. A few splashes of color to bring out life but not overwhelm. Function and form existing in harmony.

And because I’ve got a bit of dirt in me and because I come as I am, there’s the alleyway grunge, too – the concrete wall and the layered ‘graffiti’ art in the header – mixed in with a bit of post-apocalyptic pop culture.
